What wasn't working
Most developer portfolios read as a list of skills. Nothing on the page demonstrates the craft it claims, so recruiters skim and leave without a reason to remember anyone.
What had to change
Make the portfolio itself the proof: an interface where the typography, motion and code detail show the standard of work before a single project is opened.

Led with a stacked role headline where the discipline changes on a gradient accent line.

Designed a floating code panel with orbiting capability tags as the hero visual.

Kept the palette near-black with a single cool gradient so accents always mean something.
React and TypeScript with Tailwind CSS, scroll-triggered reveals, and reduced-motion support throughout. The code panel is real syntax-highlighted markup rather than an image, so it stays crisp on every display.
